Showers (of any kind) are the most entertaining and comical of all gift giving exercises. . . There is literally no other time when you’ll “oooh” and “ahhh” over mundane items like diapers or burp cloths.
***Clarification! I am NOT pregnant. I have several friends who are and they are glowing! (Can’t wait to buy them diapers and burp cloths)

This adorable polka dot dress is perfect for a baby girl shower. It’s comfortable, classic, and oh, it’s less than $25 with TWO DAY SHIPPING. If you’re thinking, “But I’m going to a baby BOY shower!” Never fear! This dress comes in blue and green.
I always like to be comfortable (read: wear flats) at these showers as I spend most of my time standing over the kitchen island, secretly scooping the remaining cheese dip out of the crock pot… But you can also throw on a neutral wedge or espadrille for a little height.
I’ve paired this dress with my Sam Edleman flat summer loafers. I’ve worn these shoes more times than I can count and they’ve truly paid for themselves by now. Even though they may be a little more on the pricey end, I couldn’t recommend investing in these comfy slip-ons enough!
